EXECUTION
There's the sound of that handbell again, sometime Sunday morning when the sun gets high in the sky. It's PB in the front yard of the manor. He's looking as chipper(?) as ever and is riding the high of yesterday's trial. Voting for Tamon? That was good television. He's living it up, babey!
Which means when everyone gathers, he will beckon them to follow. Onto the beach, that invisible wall gone for now and instead PB leads them to a circle of tiki torches, lit despite the daytime hours and surrounded in a circle by mannequins. The sound of the waves are loud near the water where they stand and it's actually a little cold. The crew is there, filming the circle and the contestants as well as they're encouraged to stand around it. If they try to go into the circle itself, they will be stopped — except for one person.
Tamon will be carried out of the house by mannequins, all the way to to the middle of the circle and dropped in the center of the sand. The mannequins will leave then, going back to their place among the circle of crew. This is feeling very Survivor, isn't it? Which is when PB pipes up —
"Don't worry, everyone. It's distinct enough that we won't get sued!"
Bastard.
Anyway, now that you're all here, what's going to happen next?

patriarch pauses to remove his gloves, boots, cap, cape and jacket and then just dives into the ocean. stars belong in the sky and not at the bottom of the sea. ]

I'M ASSUMING SOMEONE WILL COME HELP TAMON BACK TO THE HOUSE EVENTUALLY so Kalim will take the time to help Patriarch fetch Tsukasa's corpse... what good is a flying carpet if you can't use it to (checks notes) cart dead bodies out of the water and deliver them to their proper holes...]

i do have topless official patriarch art but do the viewers really deserve that rn. ]Thank you.
We'll need to find a place to bury him.

A very understandable sentiment but don't actually do it?? There's a big rock tied to him??? But okay, he's gone in, uhm. Uh.
In absolute absence of anything to do, More is going to swallow all his feelings and go look for some towels. ]
no subject
anyway, when he's back on the beach with the body, assuming More is standing there with the towels. ]
Did you want to wrap him in those? [ obviously the towels are for tsukasa and not for him, even if he is sopping wet. ]
no subject
Tsukasa's body looks awful at their feet and a part of More wants to scream just looking at it. The boy was younger than... But no matter.
He hands one of the towels off to Patriarch. ]
Dry yourself off first. We can use the remainders to give his remains some dignity.
[ Cover that pained face, at least. ]
no subject
but ah. the towels are for him? patriarch blinks, apparently surprised. ]
Hmm, alright. [ he should at least dry his face and hair, he'll need to change to really get the rest of him dry. ]
This really is some type of production. [ it's the most he's voiced his distaste for all of this recently, but that probably makes sense. ]

It's deplorable. I have seen public hangings conducted with more respect than this farce.
[ He looks down at Tsukasa again, before actually covering up his face with a smaller towel, very gently so. ]
... we will need to begin a graveyard.
no subject
[ since that seems to be the vibe they're going for... ]
We will. In the garden, perhaps? Our space is limited.

[ The first grave was not dug with intent of putting anybody to rest like this, but it has set a precedent that now is turning into dire necessity. ]
... there are flowers from my home in the garden. A certain village in the depths of the forest uses them for funeral rites.
no subject
[ though he considers for another moment, as he finishes wringing out his hair. ]
We might use another flower to signify it was this boy, in particular.
no subject
[ There are so many different kinds of burials in Euchronia!! ]
Flowers may not be a universal gesture either, but there is little reason to believe a sincerely placed marker would cause offense.
