MINGLE LOG

We're back, everybody! Fresh week, fresh house, fresh murder. It is indeed a fresh house as when people wake on Monday morning they'll see that — everything is fixed! The windows, the table, whatever property damage that was inflicted last week is all cleaned up and reset. There is no SOS on the roof anymore. None of that. Anyone who stayed up all night on Sunday will have seen the mannequins diligently cleaning and repairing the house during the course of the night, finished by dawn. Yay!

They've also opened a new room in the house. A cleaning room — there is a washing machine, dryer, and various cleaning supplies in the room. Mops and brooms and dustpans and swiffers and all sorts of things! There's even a basket for collecting dirty laundry too.

And then in the morning, they bring in a few things to note, dumping it all in the living room.

A assortment of feminine clothing — dresses, skirts, blouses, etc
Included in that pile of clothing are twenty-five sailor uniforms of various sizes
Make up! Quite a bit — enough to last the rest of the time
So many packs of underwear. You had underwear last week but like, this is better
A tablet with Candy Crush and Infinity Nikki on it. There is nothing else accessible on it. There's a sticky note on the cover that says FOR ECHINACEA
A gun with one bullet is on the coffee table
A spear is laid across the coffee table as well

That said, it doesn't seem like the food restocked. Huh...

Anybody actually take you up on a dare yet?

Nope. [This is probably wise, considering the sailor outfits right next to him.] Want to be the first?

Sure, why the hell not? Dare me.

[ mostly he's curious what leon might come up with and his shame died a year ago anyway. ]

[Leon is not mean enough to hand out actually humiliating dares (well i guess that depends on if you think sailor suits are humiliating), so Junpei is safe, either way.]

Show me your best magical girl transformation sequence. And then... wear one of those for at least an hour. [Gesturing at the uniforms.]

[ fair enough. there's a nod before he picks up a uniform that's probably his size and then he disappears for a while.

and then eventually after a bit a voice appears from some hidden corner in the shadows as a lamp is pointed in his direction to create a silhouette. how? don't worry about it, just watch him spin and pose a bit in the spotlight. ]

[ strikes a fighting pose with the most exhausted look on his face, but also like he would punish someone in the name of the moon. flashes a peace sign for a nearby camera. tada? ]

[TEAM ROCKET WOULD LIKE A WORD WITH YOU, SIR

That was so... surprisingly dramatic, coming from someone like Junpei, who Leon considers one of the more straight-laced people here. His eyebrows fly straight up and he just laughs when he sees the contrast of dramatic pose-striking and the look on his face.]

[Clapping. He deserves it.]

My villainous ways don't stand a chance.

[ we can have a little copyright infringement as a treat. but there's a grin with the applause. is this his vibe anymore? maybe not, but his first commitment is still to the bit. ]

Evil doesn't stand a chance against my moon prism powers. [ the tone is still dry but it is obvious he's joking around. ] ... a whole hour huh?

A whole hour. But something tells me that won't be an issue for you.

[Guy who did this so easily, really.]

I've done worse on the job. [ also it helps he's convinced he won't see any of these people after the show's over anyway. ]

[ he sizes leon up for a moment. ]

And you seem too focused to ask just for fun. [ but he doesn't elaborate on what that means, so he shrugs and decides to make this worse. ] Unless this is some hidden desire...?

[ he does not believe this when haruaki literally exists. ]

[CLOSING HIS EYES like this is the nth time someone has insinuated this to him. this was clearly a mistake]

No, it's not some weird kink, I promise.

[ leon you really do suffer. ]

Good to know. Guess I'll keep my original assumptions then.

[Huffs!] You do that, though I should also note that I do know how to have a little fun, too.

[ he looks him up and down again like he's gauging this. ]

Oh yeah? And what exactly is your idea of fun?

[Oh my god. He can't believe this is being called into question. Maybe he really has gotten too serious-looking in his old age. Sometimes a guy is just tired, okay.]

A night out on the town with some stiff drinks. Pretty classic.

[ well, leon, you are talking to an alcoholic so this answer actually isn't terrible. ]

I don't disagree with that. A lot of bars are open 24 hours a day where I'm from, you can wander from place to place for a while. Sometimes that's all you need to unwind a bit.

[ and sometimes that's still not enough but it's fun while it lasts. ]

Yeah, and I don't know about you— [well, maybe he does, given all Junpei's told him before] —but I need every chance I can get to unwind.

[ given the way he raises both eyebrows, yes. every chance is needed. ]

And yet here we are without anything good at our disposal. Kind of a shame.

If nothing else, our supplies are dwindling. How's a guy supposed to cope?

Oh, I'm sure a guy could find a way. [ ... but in all seriousness. ]

Might need to start making a list of stuff we're running low on. If we're here for several weeks I doubt anyone will want to wait that long.

[Sighing.]

You really think we're not going to a get a proper restock?

I think this is going to be a game to see how desperate people become and what "creative" solutions they come up with. So sure, maybe we'll get a restock, but who can say when?
