EXECUTION

There's the sound of that handbell again, sometime Sunday morning when the sun gets high in the sky. It's PB in the front yard of the manor. He's looking as chipper(?) as ever and is riding the high of yesterday's trial. Voting for Tamon? That was good television. He's living it up, babey!

Which means when everyone gathers, he will beckon them to follow. Onto the beach, that invisible wall gone for now and instead PB leads them to a circle of tiki torches, lit despite the daytime hours and surrounded in a circle by mannequins. The sound of the waves are loud near the water where they stand and it's actually a little cold. The crew is there, filming the circle and the contestants as well as they're encouraged to stand around it. If they try to go into the circle itself, they will be stopped — except for one person.

Tamon will be carried out of the house by mannequins, all the way to to the middle of the circle and dropped in the center of the sand. The mannequins will leave then, going back to their place among the circle of crew. This is feeling very Survivor, isn't it? Which is when PB pipes up —

"Don't worry, everyone. It's distinct enough that we won't get sued!"

Bastard.

Anyway, now that you're all here, what's going to happen next?

[ He closes his eyes tightly for a few seconds. It's a bullshit contract that none of them signed up but contracts are serious business. God. Okay. He's mentally bracing himself for what could happen next. ]

[ Tsukasa. Of all people, it's another one who seems as though he has never had to confront death before. This is truly far too cruel.

Which of course means More is stood frozen in place, not doing anything about it. He's clutching his ever-present notebook very tightly. ]

[Not unlike other people, probably, a sleep-deprived and jittery Kalim does his best to get in the way of the mannequins and to run up to the execution ring, all to no avail. Wow, shocking.

But after a minute he runs back to the mansion... ABANDONING TAMON AND TSUKASA!!! No, wait, he's back. And he has... a banner of his own? Well. Kind of. It's just printer paper taped together with SOS THIS IS REAL MURDER WEVE BEEN KIDNAPPED CALL X11 written on it in very aggressive pen.

It probably would've been more effective if he just wrote a bunch of brand names down but listen. He tried.]

[She walks straight into the barrier like a cat that doesn't understand sliding doors.]

[Local circus monkey found up a tree nearby trying to scope how far up that barrier goes. Again. Maybe it's the definition of insanity but isn't that also this entire execution, fuck it we ball.

Between the new information and the fact that it's apparently Tsukasa's job to execute Tamon, Minato stays frozen in place while trembling a bit. ]

[ Roathe watches the entire execution with the same severe expression that seems to be his default. His hands are clasped behind his back in prim posture like he's attending something formal. He doesn't speak or avert his eyes from what happens, but nor does his expression change in the slightest. It's only once Tsukasa is dead that he says anything, and it's a simple, dry: ]
