The way you arrive might vary from person to person. Perhaps, you wake up on the beach, with your pet cat licking your face. Or you wake up tucked away in your bed, an item of yours nearby and a card on the bedside table reading your name and Welcome to the manor!

Either way, you end up in a modern mansion on a empty, lonely beach, with no explanation of why you're there or what's going on. In the driveway, there is a car with keys in the ignition but, unfortunately, no gas in the tank. In the living room, there is a touch screen television featuring a variety of profiles featuring you and the many other lost souls trapped in this mansion alongside with you.

There is also a camera crew. A camera crew? Really? But following the characters along are blank faced mannequins in a variety of colors, dressed in all black, operating cameras to film them. If you try and talk to the crew, they say nothing (as they have no mouth or eyes or... anything) and just continue to film them. Trying to touch them results in the mannequin falling over and going immobile, only to be replaced by a new one that appears from... somewhere? Weird.

The kitchen is fully stocked. There are spare clothes in the closets. There's even a few video game systems with games in the living room as well. There are books to read in the library. There's writing and drawing materials in the office. There's things to do. Just... why? To what end? What's going on here?

For those intrepid folks who decide to walk as far as they can away from the manor and the beach will find themselves blinking at one point and suddenly being back in the front yard of the manor. Huh. Strange.

Answers don't seem to be coming anytime soon. You might as well just... settle in?

PROPERTY DAMAGE + CHANGES

Changes:

As of Monday:

• the keys from the car out front have disappeared.
  
• there are claw gouges in the coffee table
  
• there are lifeless mannequins in various wonky positions everywhere in the house except bedrooms. Some are sitting at the table. Some are lying down on the ground. Some look like they're cooking something over the stove (it is not on). Some are sitting on the couches looking like theyre watching an off tv. Some are on the dining table posed like French girls meme.
  
• a living room window has been broken
  
• there is a long scratch in the ceiling of room one above the door
  
• a corner of the living room has mannequins piled from floor to ceiling
  
• another window frame has been cracked
  
• room 3 now has graffiti and claw marks on a corner of the ceiling
  
• there is graffiti on the outside of the mansion but mostly on the roof, mostly silly faces and a semi-serious SOS on the top
  
• some of the mannequins have mustaches drawn on them
  
• there is a human-sized hole in the garden with a corresponding pile of dirt next to it

As of Wednesday:

• everyone's pillows and blankets have been piled up in the living room to make a big group nest. at least, until everyone takes them back ok the pillow fort has started to be dismantled as some people take pillows and blankets back
  
• all of the books in the library have been taken off of the shelves and left on the floor
  
• there is a table floating in the pool. It looks burned.
  
• some of the booze has disappeared (burned!)

As of Thursday:

• there's a knife gouge in the dining room table

Wednesday — NPC Interaction

[ Did you enjoy the pool party? What about the snowstorm? Are you having a good time? Are you settling in well? Guess it's time to tell you why you're here, huh.

Around four on Wednesday, PB Butterworth shows back up at the house. Where did he come from? Don't worry about it! Was he here the whole time? Maybe! Either way, in the living room there will be the ringing of that hand bell again and when everyone finally makes their way to the living room, they'll see PB. He will wait patiently until everyone arrives before addressing the group. ]

Welcome! You're here because you all signed a contract to participate in a reality TV game show. The premise of this show is a game of mafia. Or werewolf. Basically, you're here to kill each other. Yes, actual murder! You will die! There are a select few among you who are chosen to kill everyone and the rest of you have to find those people before they kill you. Get good ratings, follow your contract, and you'll be good to go!
